VRMS also offers advanced Analytic Modules for
MarketExpert, which provide added
predictive and analytic power to identify purchase
relationships that are not immediately obvious in
standard data. There are five analytic modules:
Household Scores, Product Pairing (basket analysis),
Trend, Variance, and Transaction Extraction. The
Analytic Modules help answer questions such as:
- How do customers shop across departments, categories, and subcategories?
- What items appear in the same baskets as promoted items?
- How much are our best customers likely to spend next year?
- How can we make up for loss leaders?
